WHAT SHOULD I WEAR TO THE WEDDING?
Indian attire is warmly encouraged, though not required, Coastal cocktail attire is equally welcome. Wear whatever makes you feel most comfortable. The ceremony and reception take place on the sand, so shoes are optional. We recommend the following retailers for guests interested in Indian attire, with options available both online and in person:
WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE?
Please plan to arrive by 5:00 p.m. Due to the Ocean Way Festival taking place one mile south of the venue, we recommend allowing extra travel time and avoiding the 10 freeway exit at 4th/5th Street.
WHERE SHOULD I PARK?
We highly recommend using rideshare or a car service. Complimentary valet parking is available while space remains available. Once valet reaches capacity, attendants will provide a pass for complimentary self-parking in Beach Lot 8 North.
WILL THE EVENT BE OUTDOORS?
Yes--the ceremony and reception will take place on the beach. We suggest comfortable footwear suitable for walking on sand, though a shoe valet will be available if you wish to go barefoot. Evenings can turn cool after sunset, so consider bringing a light layer.

WHAT IS THE WELCOME DINNER / HENNA NIGHT ON FRIDAY?
Henna Night (also called Mehndi) is a relaxed evening celebrating one of our favorite Indian wedding traditions. Intricate henna designs are painted onto the hands, typically for the bride and any female guests who would like to participate. Join us for dinner, music, conversation and optional henna. Colorful, bright or comfortable attire is encouraged. There is no formal program and guests are welcome to come for all or part of the evening.
WHAT IS THE OCEAN WAY FESTIVAL ON SUNDAY?
This is a new beachside music festival on the sand in Santa Monica occurring the same weekend as our wedding. It runs September 27th from noon to 10:00 p.m. just south of the Santa Monica pier. WHY IS THE WEDDING ON THE SAME DAY AS THE USC-OREGON GAME?
We selected our venue and wedding date before the game schedule was released. We know this game is of significant interest to some of our guests, so we will have a TV lounge available in case the timing overlaps with our wedding. Kickoff will not be confirmed until two weeks before the wedding.
